Anorexic in an Obesity Epidemic

Lately, it seems that everywhere I go, each time I turn on the television, read a newspaper or magazine the same message is being repeated – the UK is in the middle of an obesity crisis. There are also frequent adverts telling children to swap junk food for healthy snacks and to get active to become ‘fit for life.’ So, from a young age children are being conditioned to believe fat is bad and thin is good.

Yet at the same time, more and more I hear from parents, doctors, teachers and therapists that eating disorders, specifically anorexia nervosa, are on the rise

Though its a very old saying that readers are leaders and leaders are readers but somehow I feel that its true in every sense. For me and everyone who has achieved anything in their lives, reading has been an essential part of their lives. It is also said that the moment you stop reading/learning your growth stops(mentally not physically) so if you want to lead a successful and happy life, keep learning, keep reading and keep growing.

However, the biggest problem is no one tells you what to read...

     Argue for the right reasons

Arguments; though no one likes them, but they do happen no matter how much you try to avoid them and if you actually think of it; arguments are not a bad thing. If it wasn’t for arguments and disagreement the entire world would have ended up going in one direction only (whatever direction that may be). So what it is that makes arguments worthless or worthwhile? Let’s find out!
